Help your employees to feel better, look better, and have more energy to devote to their work.

Your team will learn to work and communicate with less strain and more ease. Better posture at work can help avoid strain-related injury as well as improve employee morale and productivity.

Lindsay was interactive and informative and employees left the seminar with information they didn’t have before…tips and advice on how to correct your posture throughout the day, what good posture looks and feels like, and why it’s important to have good posture.

I would recommend Lindsay to any company looking to spice up their wellness program.

Benefits to Improving Posture at Work

Musculoskeletal problems are the most common contributing factors to on-the-job injury in many organizations and lead to the highest number of workers’ compensation claims.

These injuries lead to reduced productivity, a higher risk of error, and low morale, and are an ongoing expense. Most of these problems are caused by strain, which can be resolved by addressing postural and movement habits. Additionally, research shows that upright posture in the face of stress helps to reduce fear and improve mood. In turn, employees with improved posture may find that their communication and presentation skills improve.

As a posture expert and certified Alexander Technique instructor, Lindsay Newitter helps people avoid creating and reinforcing postural habits that lead to strain, pain, injury, and ineffective body language.

  • Develop Better Posture, Breathing, and More Effective Body Language When You Communicate

Can be set up as a 1-2-hour workshop or a series of classes.

Put your best foot forward when pitching, presenting, or in a meeting.

Posture is body language. Automatic and often unconscious postural habits developed when using a computer or phone can become part of how you hold yourself and present yourself.

Changing these general work habits can improve confidence and communication skills.

Lindsay will teach simple strategies that can be used throughout the day. Lindsay will then guide participants to practice becoming more mindful of how they move and speak when interacting with others. They will learn to be more effective in their communications at work and in life.
